Khris Mapp Project Scholarship

SCHOLARSHIPS

 

The Khris Mapp Project (KMP) Scholarship program addresses the financial needs of future college students. Khris Mapp Project Scholars receive a generous award for transportation on the city bus and school supplies while attending a local two-year community college of their choice. The program also promotes the values and character traits embodied in the heroic life of the Foundation’s namesake, encouraging Scholars to positively impact the lives of others.

 

The KMP scholarship is awarded to an outstanding Eastpointe High School Seniors who plan to earn a certificate or an associate degree from an accredited, community college.  Additional fellowships are given to KMP Scholars to pursue opportunities to do community service work and study abroad ( Khristopher Mapp Founder)

 

School Supplies Scholarship:

Covers additional fees that financial aid doesn’t cover for school supplies.

 

Transportation Scholarship:

Designed to provide funding to close the gap for students that have an urgent transportation need receives first consideration for this scholarship. We will provide funds to buy bus passes for a two year program.

 

Requirements:

• Application is Due May 1st

• Minimum 2.5 GPA
